I used HomeGuard Roofing through a contractor who is no longer with the company. The service at the time was incredible and the job completed was beyond satisfactory. It's a shame that contractor left, because my experience with this company has been beyond despicable ever since.
I used HomeGuard to replace my roof after a hail storm. We have solar panels on our house and part of my contract with HomeGuard stated that they would pay for the cost of the removal and reinstall of the solar panels (about a $3,500 total cost). Over a year later, I get notice from a collections agency that I owe my solar panel company about $1,800. I do a little digging and discover that HomeGuard paid for the cost of the removal of the solar panels, but never paid for the cost of the reinstall.
It took me more than 6 weeks after receiving this notice for me to finally reach someone at HomeGuard. That included calling multiple times on a weekly basis, several comments on the website, and multiple voicemails. When I finally reached someone (Stephanie), she sounded apologetic and asked me to provide a copy of my original contract and she would get that taken care of (it's anyone's guess why they didn't have this on file). Stephanie advised me to contact her directly concerning the issue from there on out. I sent her the contract within minutes of talking with her but didn't receive a response. I moved on assuming the issue had been resolved.
Flash forward to about two months later when I get a notice that I have taken a hit to my credit due to this issue not being cleared with the collections agency. A little more digging and I confirm that the remaining balance was never paid even after Stephanie said she would take care of it. After another few weeks and multiple attempts at contacting Stephanie (again with no response), I threaten to post negative reviews and publicly advise no one to ever use this company. Surprise, surprise, Stephanie responds within a matter of minutes and asks me to send her an invoice for the remaining payment. I contact my solar panel company and get them to provide an invoice. Stephanie responds and says that the issue has been "elevated to management."
That was over a month ago, and I just received another call from the collections agency that the balance STILL has not been paid and confirmed this with my solar panel company. I have contacted Stephanie (again) and have yet to receive a response. Since apparently HomeGuard will only respond to negativity, hopefully this review will help light a fire under their butts to resolve this.
Let this be a lesson that if there are any issues in your experience with HomeGuard, they CANNOT be trusted to resolve them in a timely, professional manner. I would absolutely advise anyone looking for roofing services to avoid HomeGuard.Wednesday 7th June 2023

Alex, our contact at HomeGuard, was very thorough and wasn't pushy at all. I recently had a very bad experience with another roofer in the Denver area, so his behavior was very refreshing. The crew did a very nice job on my roof, and finished in the projected timeframe. The entire process was made pretty painless. Trish Manglos5 StarHomeGuard came highly recommended to me by a family friend, as I was looking for someone to inspect my roof. I was purchasing a new home at the time and my home inspector only did a visual inspection from the ground. I called HomeGuard and was told they would be happy to come check things out for me. On the day of the inspection, several nice young men from HomeGuard came out to do the inspection. They were on time, courteous and professional. They got up on my roof, did a thorough inspection and reported back that all looked great! The fact that this did not result in a sale did not change the way I was treated. In fact, they genuinely seemed to care about my situation and even gave my husband some great tips on how to check for damage in the future. The best part is they did not charge me anything for the inspection! They said word of mouth referrals were the best compliment I could give them, so that is why it was important to me to write this review. I would highly recommend HomeGuard Restoration to anyone that needs a new roof, gutters, siding, paint or windows!Thursday 5th April 2018

Kristen Kent5 StarHomeGuard approached us to do a roof inspection to check for storm damage. I normally do not like to work with people who come to the door, but the HomeGuard rep, Brent, was very pleasant and not at all salesy. His assessment at the time was that we did not have any significant damage. I kept his card and called him just a few weeks later after a big hail storm. We did have damage then. They helped us navigate the insurance process and explained everything along the way. They did not require any payment until after the insurance claim was settled. The roof looks great, and the workmanship and service were exceptional. I would definitely recommend HomeGuard.Friday 26th August 2016
