We own 42 buildings, including a 37,000 sq ft historical hotel in Manitou Springs. Camil Rykowski was the Senior Project Planner on the job. The complications with our project seemed endless; with road restrictions, parking issues, hard timelines due to guest arrivals and departures, materials loading and off-loading, historical committee restrictions, etc. Through the entire project, Camil kept a level head and was able to oversee up to 30 roofers at a time on-site, re-roofing several buildings at a time. Where the roofers may not have been consistently well-experienced with the challenges of historical buildings, any concerns or additional punch lists we provided were dealt with appropriately. All buildings passed inspection the first time through. Furthermore, Camil was very intentional about working with our insurance company on providing coverage on additional equipment needs and code upgrades.

He did an amazing job communicating with my insurance company and I had a great experience all around. I would highly recommend Veteran Roofing and Cameron for a seamless process!

TLDR: Unprofessional and unethical, tried to run with our money. Defunct business that does not have a license anymore. We unfortunately chose to work with Veteran Roofing for a full roof redo, with a scheduled start date of April 12th, with the actual work being delayed until May 4th. The project manager handling our job was abruptly fired on May 16th with no notification, resulting in our project being neglected and no follow-up being provided for 6 weeks. Despite our title company prematurely paying in full, we found Veteran Roofing refusing to complete our contract. Our efforts to communicate were met with ignored calls, texts, and emails, ultimately leading to our numbers being blocked. With the aid of our title company, communication was momentarily reestablished and a new project manager assigned, only to disappear again within 2 weeks. We tried to reestablish contact again, just to be met with lies ("our crew was out yesterday to do the work") and being ignored by Mike, the owner again for multiple weeks. We have since decided to take legal action. During this ordeal, we learned of the company attempting to withhold wages from their employees, showcasing a lack of ethics in their business practices. Quality of the work that was done was shoddy in places, including damaged shingles and inferior chimney flashing. Despite the company’s name and advertisements, Mike, the new owner, is not a veteran. It is now 22 weeks (!!) later, the permit with the city for our project is still open and unresolved. To our dismay, we also discovered they are operating without a valid license within the city. Our experience with Veteran Roofing has been marked by deceit, unprofessional conduct, poor craftsmanship, and a blatant disregard for contracts and ethical standards. If you’re considering roofing services, please look somewhere else.

Company was less than stellar when we had them replace our roof in 2018 - lots of delays, lots of back and forth with solar panel replacements that they should have been fielding calls on and instead it was me. Bad communication from whoever their lead tech was at the time, and even after it was said and done we didn't get any warranty information or anything outside of an invoice. Now in 2023 I'm selling the house and trying to reach out ANYBODY at Veteran and they are completely MIA. Phone calls go unanswered, emails are ignored. They are absolute trash at communicating. Two stars because the actual roof repair itself was fine and had no issues - ONCE IT WAS ACTUALLY DONE....

These guys are excellent. I have had Kenny replace my roof more than once. I trust him, he does a fantastic job managing his projects and they have great crews as well. They always perform in a timely manner with appropriate pricing. They work well with insurance companies too. Kenny and Cameron are both great to work with. I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you for all of your help and great work!
